
Meet Amy
Amy serves as President, Principal and Broker-in-Charge of Carolina Real Estate Managers, LLC. From 1997-2000 Amy worked commercial brokerage in the Charleston and surrounding areas focusing on acquisitions and leasing of retail, office, industrial and hotels working for Coldwell Banker, and Prudential.
For 11 years Amy went to work with one of her clients Hughes Commercial Properties, as a commercial Development Coordinator, and Director of Property Management. Having assisted in the development of over 1.5 million square feet of commercial, primarily free-standing retail and strip centers.
In 2011 Amy joined Colonial Commercial as Director of Property Management, which later joined forces with AY and Southern Real Estate Management. Amy served as President of SOREM – Upstate until the spilt with AY when the company changed names to RealOp Investments. Amy served as Vice President of Property Management for RealOp until 2016.
In 2016 Amy formed Carolina Real Estate Management Group, LLC, which she is still a principal today.
Having been involved in the commercial real estate and property management industry for over 20 years she is an industry leader in property management having earned her CPM (Certified Property Manager) designation in 2005 from the Institute of Real Estate Management. A mark of distinction among real estate professionals, a CPM demonstrates the highest standards of professionalism, financial performance and ethics and must display proficiency in core areas of real estate management, meet portfolio requirements and pass a rigorous certification exam.
Amy has managed and developed an impressive Class A & B commercial portfolio in excess of 2,000,000 sqft. She has developed long and successful relationships with National Tenants such as BI-LO, Hobby Lobby, Walgreens, Michaels, Petco, Starbucks, Stein Mart, Academy Sports & Outdoors, Aspen Dental, Dunkin Donut, Krispy Kreme, Office Depot and many others as well as financial institutions, and local Tenants throughout the Southeast.
Additionally, Amy holds a Business Degree from Pierce College, she is a member of the National Association of Female Executives, the National Board of Realtors, the Institute of Real Estate Management, and holds a South Carolina Broker's License.
